About the Home
This brand new SDA home is flooded with natural light through large windows, with easy views of the atrium garden — a bright, uplifting environment that can make a real difference to mood and wellbeing day to day. Year-round comfort is taken care of with air conditioning, so participants who are sensitive to heat or who need a stable environment can feel at ease in every season.
The home is designed with genuine accessibility in mind — a fully accessible bathroom, durable hard flooring throughout (ideal for wheelchairs and mobility aids), and a spacious undercover carport that makes arrivals and departures comfortable in any weather. These features reduce friction in daily life, supporting greater independence and dignity.
The fully fenced yard offers a safe, private outdoor space — ideal for participants who enjoy fresh air and time outside, or who benefit from a secure environment. Common areas are tastefully furnished and welcoming, while your bedroom is entirely your own space to personalise and make home.
You’ll be empowered to live your life your way, learn new skills, explore your local community and the activities you love, all with professional and compassionate disability support from the For Care team, available around the clock. You can receive help with domestic tasks, medication, budgeting and support to develop social skills and relationships.
Light House is ideal for NDIS participants with SIL or Home and Living funding in their plan, and SDA funding for High Physical Support Needs.

Location
Set back from the road in a quiet pocket of Capalaba, in the Redlands on Brisbane’s bayside, Light House sits in a peaceful neighbourhood near the Leslie Harrison Dam reserve. For participants who are sensitive to noise, traffic, or busy environments, this calm setting makes home a genuine sanctuary — a place to decompress and feel safe.
Yet the bustling centre of Capalaba is just minutes away by car, putting shops, dining, cinemas, and services well within reach. That proximity makes Community Access Support easy to plan and enjoyable to carry out, whether it’s a weekly grocery run, a meal out, or a movie.
