Who is Eligible for NDIS SIL Funding?
To be eligible for NDIS SIL funding, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a protected special category visa.
- Have a disability that significantly affects your ability to live independently. This could include physical, intellectual, sensory, or psychosocial disabilities.
- Need ongoing support in multiple areas of daily life, most or all of the time. This may include assistance with personal care, household tasks, cooking, shopping, transportation, or social interaction.
- Be aged between 18 and 65 years old. (There may be exceptions for some individuals transitioning from child to adult support.)
